Foreign investors purchased Dh1.2 billion worth of shares on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and sold Dh1.1 billion, DFM revealed recently.
Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh118.9 million, as aggregate buy.
Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 50.2% of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 45.3% of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said on the market activities for the current week.
Institutional investor share
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors reached Dh938.5 million comprising 38.8% of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh853.9 million which constitutes 35.3% of the total value of stocks traded during the week.
Net institutional investment on the market stood at Dh84.7 million during the period, as aggregate buy.
