How do I get to a list of traffic violations?

You log in to “Inquiry and Payment of Traffic Fines” service. To check if there is a violation recorded on the vehicle, select the button indicating “Print a list of violations”. The list will be sent to the email registered in the vehicle’s traffic file and the same list will be displayed on the screen.

How much does it cost to get a list of traffic violations?

There is no fee if submitted through the service. In case it is requested from any of the service locations, a due fee of Dh5 per vehicle is required.

How to dispute traffic fines?

Customer can call 901 for checking the transaction details and he/she should provide Driving License# or Vehicle Plate# or TC (Traffic File#) number.

Where can I dispute a violation?

You can dispute a violation at the police station, where they issued the ticket; or through Traffic Prosecution Office, Deira.

Where can I obtain a radar snapshot?

You can obtain a radar snapshot from the General Department of Traffic, Violation Section. Fees is Dh30.

How are black points calculated? Is it from the violation date or from the payment date?

Black points are calculated from the date of payment of violation and recorded to the licence.

What are the procedures taken to change the color of a vehicle?

You need to bring the vehicle to the General Department of Criminal Investigation (Division of Vehicle Tracking) to be tested. Present the proof of vehicle ownership.

Can I amend my registration data?

Yes, you can, after you log in to your account, choose the item ‘User Data’ and amend your data.

What is Traffic Points Deduction?

UAE Traffic Federal Law offers a good opportunity for driver who has traffic fines to attend the Course in order to deduct maximum 8 points in one year, unless these points attain 24 points.
