Dubai Jazz Festival to celebrate 15 years of uniqueness


The 15th edition of the Dubai International Jazz Festival will kick-off next year from 22nd – 24th of February bringing together famous jazz artists from across the world.

The festival is the most rewarded music event in the UAE winning the ‘What’s On’ Award for ‘The Best Festival’ 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010, the ‘Best Public Entertainment Event in The Middle East’ for 2008 and the ‘Best Marketing of An Event” Award in 2009 at the EVENT 360, the Time Out Award for the ‘Best Music Festival’ in 2010, with the recent Ahlan! Best In Dubai Award for the ‘Best Music Event’ for 2010; the festival continues its tradition of finding new and improved ways to make the experience even more exciting for fans.

The Jazz Festival has drawn over 500,000 fans, featuring more than 450 shows since its inception in 2003 with people coming in from across the UAE, GCC and around the world. The Jazz Festival’s list of legendary musicians, Grammy award winning artists, critically acclaimed jazz and contemporary groups, and pop sensations covers over 50 years of music history.

Singer’s confirmed

As of now, the award-winning singer, songwriter and record producer Mariah Carey is all set to rock the stage during the second night of the festival. Latin singer Enrique Iglesias will also be taking the stage at the festivals last night.

Ticket sales

Tickets for the Mariah Carey concert will be available for sale at 12 noon, starting December 6th, 2016. Enrique Iglesias concert ticket can be bought online now, while Early-Bird Regular tickets for the show has already been Sold Out!

Tickets are priced at Dh1595 (VIP Deck), Dh995 (Fan Pit), Dh675 (Golden Circle) and Dh335 (Regular). Tickets can be brought at the gate by cash or credit card. However, the ticket availability and categories are not guaranteed. The festival will take place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.
