Christopher Nolan’s top grossing movies


Best known for his non-linear, cerebral storytelling Christopher Nolan is a British producer, director and a screenwriter. Merely at the age of 45, he stands proudly among the most acclaimed and successful filmmakers of the 21st century. He is recognized as one of the highest-grossing directors in history.

Nolan started making movies when he was just seven years old as it was his passion. His directorial debut was ‘Following’ in 1998. His fame was further elevated with the critical success of the Batman series (2005-2012), Inception (2010) and Intersteller (2014). His nine films have grossed over $4.2 billion worldwide and garnered a total of 26 Oscar nominations and seven awards. Nolan has co-written several of his films with his younger brother, Jonathan Nolan, and runs the production company Syncopy Inc. with his wife.
